Office is one of the best products ever released by Microsoft and it can even be considered as a must-have for millions of users out there. The Redmond-based software giant has continuously improved its Office suite, so it currently comes with a very attractive interface that keeps features a bit more organized, so that users can now benefit easier from its innovative functions.

Installing Microsoft Office might seem a little tricky, since there are a lot of tools bundled into the installation kit, so computer knowledge can come in handy when trying to deploy a fresh copy of the software. Also, copying all files usually takes a while, even in the case of fast computers, since there are a lot of files that need to be transferred on the hard disks.

Those who have not used an office suite before, be it Microsoft Office, OpenOffice or any other similar software, need to take the time to adjust to the interface. At the first glance, due to the well-known ribbon interface, the app might seem familiar.

Mungkin pernah terlintas pertanyaan-pertanyaan seperti ini di benak kita:
  • Windows 7 vs Windows 8 mana yang lebih bagus ? atau
  • Antara windows 7 dan Windows 8 kira-kira lebih cepat mana ? atau mungkin
  • Kalau main game pc enakan pakai windows 7 atau Windows 8 ?
  • Dan lain sebagainya..
Jika anda adalah seorang tidak tinggal di gua, tentu anda sudah pernah mendengar tentang sistem operasi terbaru yang di luncurkan oleh microsoft yaitu windows 8. Ada banyak sekali tanggapan positif maupun negatif mengenai operating system yang satu ini, dan tidak jarang pertanyaan atau pembahasan mengenai "Manakah yang lebih baik antara Windows 7 dan windows 8" dapat dengan mudah kita jumpai di berbagai blog, forum maupun website. Dan berikut ini adalah review perbandingan kemampuan antara win 7 dan win 8 yang koskomputer ambil dari microsoftportal.net:

Pengujian: Download, PCMark, browser, coding
Pengujian berikut dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengujian kualitas sistem yang mencakup prosesor Intel Core i7-3960X, 16 GB DDR3 RAM-1.866 dan GeForce GTX 670, motherboard Asrock X79 Extreme11. Hard drive utama Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB.
Bila menggunakan Samsung Spinpoint F1 waktu booting 1TB berkurang sebesar 33%. 27 detik dengan Windows 7 dan 18 detik pada Windows 8.
Sebuah perbandingan serupa diamati untuk kecepatan offline. Pada Windows 8, dibutuhkan hanya 8 detik untuk 12 detik pada Windows 7.
Kami menguji kecepatan keluar dari modus sleep dengan hard drive standar, Windows 8 menunjukkan peningkatan yang nyata dalam kecepatan. Tetapi kenyataannya 10 detik terlalu lama dan kami memutuskan untuk menguji sistem dengan harddisk kami, tapi hasilnya tidak berubah.
Pengujian 3DMark 11 ini digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja grafis 3D, yang berarti bahwa driver kartu video yang memainkan peran penting. Dan hasilnya hampir sangat mirip pada kedua sistem operasi, tetapi di sini Windows 7 sedikit lebih cepat.
Ketika pengujian dengan PCMark Windows 7 terlihat 9% lebih cepat dibandingkan windows 8.
Kami telah menambahkan pengujian ke versi terbaru dari IE, Firefox dan Chrome pada kedua sistem operasi., meskipun tidak begitu banyak, tapi lebih baik di Windows 8 di banding windows 7.
Pengujian PCMark 7 menunjukkan kepada kita bahwa Windows 8 lebih cepat dari Windows 7 dalam tes multimedia dengan perbandingan mencapai 6%.

Pengujian: Menyalin file, dokumen, kinerja gaming.
Windows 8 dipersenjatai dengan satu set baru Office 2013, dan kami menemukan perbedaan bekerja dengan dokumen kami di excel windows 8 terasa 10% lebih cepat di bandingkan dengan menggunakan windows 7.
Windows 8 memiliki antarmuka Explorer baru untuk transfer file, yang menyediakan data yang lebih akurat tentang kecepatan dan perkiraan waktu penyelesaian transfer di tambah transmisi data dalam beberapa jendela serta user interface menakjubkan, tetapi kinerja untuk transfer file besar, bersama-sama atau secara terpisah, meninggalkan perbandingan yang sangat kecil. Windows 7 dan Windows 8 dalam kasus ini menunjukkan kinerja yang serupa.
Akhirnya, kami menguji kinerja gaming dengan Just Cause 2, Hard Reset dan Battlefield 3. Seperti dalam tes sebelumnya, di sini driver grafis lebih berpengaruh dari apa pun. Kedua sistem operasi memberikan kinerja yang sama namun windows 7 terlihat sedikit lebih baik.
