  • Windows 7 vs Windows 8 mana yang lebih bagus ? atau
  • Antara windows 7 dan Windows 8 kira-kira lebih cepat mana ? atau mungkin
  • Kalau main game pc enakan pakai windows 7 atau Windows 8 ?
  • Dan lain sebagainya..
Jika anda adalah seorang tidak tinggal di gua, tentu anda sudah pernah mendengar tentang sistem operasi terbaru yang di luncurkan oleh microsoft yaitu windows 8. Ada banyak sekali tanggapan positif maupun negatif mengenai operating system yang satu ini, dan tidak jarang pertanyaan atau pembahasan mengenai "Manakah yang lebih baik antara Windows 7 dan windows 8" dapat dengan mudah kita jumpai di berbagai blog, forum maupun website. Dan berikut ini adalah review perbandingan kemampuan antara win 7 dan win 8 yang koskomputer ambil dari microsoftportal.net:

Pengujian: Download, PCMark, browser, coding
Pengujian berikut dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengujian kualitas sistem yang mencakup prosesor Intel Core i7-3960X, 16 GB DDR3 RAM-1.866 dan GeForce GTX 670, motherboard Asrock X79 Extreme11. Hard drive utama Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB.
Bila menggunakan Samsung Spinpoint F1 waktu booting 1TB berkurang sebesar 33%. 27 detik dengan Windows 7 dan 18 detik pada Windows 8.
Sebuah perbandingan serupa diamati untuk kecepatan offline. Pada Windows 8, dibutuhkan hanya 8 detik untuk 12 detik pada Windows 7.
Kami menguji kecepatan keluar dari modus sleep dengan hard drive standar, Windows 8 menunjukkan peningkatan yang nyata dalam kecepatan. Tetapi kenyataannya 10 detik terlalu lama dan kami memutuskan untuk menguji sistem dengan harddisk kami, tapi hasilnya tidak berubah.
Pengujian 3DMark 11 ini digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja grafis 3D, yang berarti bahwa driver kartu video yang memainkan peran penting. Dan hasilnya hampir sangat mirip pada kedua sistem operasi, tetapi di sini Windows 7 sedikit lebih cepat.
Ketika pengujian dengan PCMark Windows 7 terlihat 9% lebih cepat dibandingkan windows 8.
